We have three gigs coming up across London including our first visits
to West London. We're getting in before John Reid introduces work
permits for East Londoners.

Saturday Nov 4 2006 20:00
BIG BOSS SOUNDS
Club My Place, 1 - 3 Trebovir Road, London SW5 9LS,
Cost: cheap

BIG BOSS SOUNDS is a top drawer West London club night billed as:
"James Brown mixed with the samba style of Jorge Ben (ponta de lanca
africano) divided by Willy Bobo (grazing in the grass), meeting up at
Studio 1 and beyond"

We don't understand this either but we know our job is to supply the
Studio One ska.

We are topping the bill and there's a support band called the
Dropouts, who are no doubt spiffingly good while setting a bad
example.

It is very near Earls Court station.

Next up sees us return to East London to play two sets.

Friday Nov 10

The White Hart
1 Mile End Rd, LONDON, E1 4TP

An excellent boozer near Stepney Green tube. It's entirely possible
the Kray twins were nice to some children and old people near here.

And the very next night sees us back in West London

Saturday Nov 11

Bar Mau Mau
265 Portobello Rd London, W10 1LR

This is the finest live venue in Notting Hill, and Leo once heard Tony
Benn give a speech here. We're not expecting him on the 11th, despite
promising to deal with the issues rather than personalities and put
tea on draught. You can expect some ska, however.
TUBE: Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill.

There are more gigs coming up in December and January. Watch this space.

And while our website doesn't change that often, Rupert Murdoch kindly
provides us with some pages on myspace which is updated far more often
. So check out www.myspace.com/myspacecomskamonics where there are
pictures and tunes.
