Gaz's Rockin' Blues was a great gig.

Here are two more:

This Wednesday September 6 we play at Hoxton's Cube and Star
www.thecubeandstar.co.uk.

It's at 39a Hoxton Square and is free.

We are sharing the bill with 3 other bands, and think we will be on at
about 10pm.

It's part of a curiously named fucknroll evening (www.fucknroll.co.uk).

It's promoted as preferable to Sumo wrestling. Some may not view this
as a very high quality threshold.

A slightly more refined evening is on offer when The Skamonics play
the Large Club on Sunday September 17th. We are the only band on the
bill, and it all happens at the Bethnal Green Working Mens Club 42
Pollard Row, London E2 6NB, London, E2 6NB.

The organisers say "This'll be a night where lipstick stains the rim
of pint glasses filled with John Smiths, eyes flirt from under the
brim of sharp hats, ladies purr and groomed gents groove."

All claims cleared with the Advertising Standards Authority in advance
of course.

The planned gig at the Inn on the Green Ladbroke Grove on September
15th has been cancelled. It's likely to happen some time in the future
... so the Notting Hill Set has been warned.

We also now have a functioning myspace site where Rupert Murdoch helps
us get down with the kids.

There are lots of photos and other goodies at
www.myspace.com/wwwmyspacecomskamonics.

This has been a very occasional newsletter from the Skamonics.
If you don't want to get any more tell us at iquit at skamonics.co.uk.
