{"id":1380,"date":"2010-07-27T21:19:33","date_gmt":"2010-07-27T21:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/skamonics.wordpress.com\/?p=144"},"modified":"2010-07-27T21:19:33","modified_gmt":"2010-07-27T21:19:33","slug":"did-we-play-15-songs-in-an-hour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skamonics.co.uk\/wordpress\/2010\/07\/27\/did-we-play-15-songs-in-an-hour\/","title":{"rendered":"Did we play 15 songs in an hour?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The answer is that I&#8217;m not sure as my watch stopped half-way through the set.<\/p>\n<p>As it&#8217;s a bettery operated watch that normally stops about once a year this could not be anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>But my guess is that we were just a bit over.<\/p>\n<p>What I do know is that it was a fabulous gig, where we got three encores.<\/p>\n<p>There was a heaving floor of dancers the whole time we were playing, and a good part of that was that we did get through the songs more quickly than we normally do. Slightly fewer solos and a slicker transition between songs mean that we really kept the energy levels up.<\/p>\n<p>I reckon the final tally was 17 songs in 75 minutes.
